Net revenue retention (NRR)
Recurring revenue from an existing group of customers after a period, including expansion and net of churn, as a share of where that group started.
NRR above 100% means the existing customer base grows on its own, before any new customers are added. It is most often measured over twelve months.
Because it nets expansion against churn, a strong NRR can hide high customer churn offset by a few large upsells. Gross revenue retention, which leaves expansion out, is the usual companion figure.

Research insights pulls retention figures from the data room with their sources, so the reported NRR can be checked against the customer data behind it.
