The workspace

Every deal in one place, filed the way you work.

Portfolio, then deal, then dataroom. Open a deal and everything done for it sits in one view: its documents, its valuations, its chats, its memos and decks.

Try it · The workspace running on sample data. Expand the tree, hover a deal and press +, or drop files into the dataroom.

Structure first, then analysis.

Most diligence tools start from a blank chat box. Hebrides starts from the structure your team already uses: the portfolio a deal belongs to, the deal itself, and the datarooms that hold its documents.

Every piece of work is created from that structure and stays attached to it. A valuation knows which files it read. A chat knows which deal it is about. A memo knows which dataroom its figures came from. Nothing floats free.

How it works

How The workspace works

01

Start anything from the deal

Hover a deal in the sidebar and press + to value it, chat with its documents, draft a report or build a deck. Each one is scoped to that deal and its datarooms for you, so there is no re-uploading and no copying context between tools.

  • New valuation, chat, report or deck in one click
  • Research insights and comparables from the same menu
  • Everything lands back under the deal it belongs to

02

Datarooms that read what you upload

Drop in decks, models, board minutes, transcripts and ZIP archives. Each file is read and indexed so chats, valuations and reports can cite it back to the page. You can see what has been read, what is still processing and what failed.

  • PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CSV, text and ZIP
  • Up to 2 GB per file; archives are unpacked and every file is read
  • Delete a file and its extracted text and index go with it

03

Find anything, then get out of the way

Search deals, datarooms and pages from anywhere with /. Collapse the sidebar with [ when a valuation or memo needs the width, and rest the pointer on the rail to bring it back.

04

A pipeline that moves with the work

Every deal also sits on a pipeline board, from first deck to invested or passed. Drag a card to a new stage, see how long each deal has been there, and keep notes against it for the rest of the team.

FAQ

The workspace: questions investors ask.

How is the workspace organised?

By portfolio, then deal, then dataroom. Every valuation, chat, report and deck is created from a deal or portfolio and stays filed under it, so the whole history of a deal is in one view.

What file types can I upload to a dataroom?

PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, text, CSV, JSON, XML, HTML and ZIP files, up to 2 GB per file. ZIP archives are unpacked and every file inside is read. You can also import from OneDrive and Google Drive.

Can I control who sees which deals?

Yes. Admins and Managers see every portfolio and deal; Users see only what they are a member of. Access is set per portfolio and per deal, and every action is recorded in the audit log.

Do I have to move my documents into Hebrides?

You can upload directly, or connect OneDrive or Google Drive and pick the files for each deal. Hebrides reads what you choose; nothing else in your drive is shared.
